Constructed thin white paper walls and ceilings, with original concrete walls and floor also covered by thin white paper. The space had previously been used as a studio by artists who left marks throughout. Although these traces are covered by the paper, they still rise up to the surface to be seen. The work is a device to show both what exists and does not exist - now and in the past. |
